A special word of thanks to Rowan’s Dad for allowing this to go ahead and for being open to the idea, as well as considering more nature-friendly decisions on the farm. Thanks also to Granda (Papa Joe) and his mum Irene, from whom the farm was passed down, both of whom are no longer with us. Papa spent his lifetime loving and caring for this unique corner of the planet, and it is an honour to be part of the farm’s future custodianship. It is quite fitting that we will be planting this mini forest during the same week as his 7th anniversary. RIP Papa Joe.
