Helen and Martin Blake who kindly made a site available on their land to participate in the 100 Million Trees project. This site was a particular challenge as it was quite waterlogged despite drainage being put on. It had previously been used for growing vegetables so the soil was of excellent quality. We will be keeping a close eye on this site to see if planting so many trees in such a small area that is wet will have any adverse effect on the growing of the trees.
