Uniphar’s Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of what we do and is deeply embedded in our business strategy. We are focused on ensuring that the five pillars of our sustainability strategy are a fundamental part of our decision-making process. We want to contribute positively to the people around us and the planet we live on. We are purposefully trying to build a planet positive culture within Uniphar. Sponsoring the 100 million trees project for the 2023/24 planting season reaffirms our commitment to a greener and healthier environment and a more sustainable future.

Ger Rabbette, CEO, Uniphar:

‘The 100M trees project caught my imagination as soon as I heard about it. It is creative, regenerative and practical. These mini forests have wonderful effects on plant and animal biodiversity in a community, on air quality and often on local morale – they put something beautiful and sustainable in a place that was maybe scrub land or wasteland before. That’s before we even talk about their use as ‘carbon sinks’. Uniphar’s sponsorship of the 100M trees project speaks directly to our planet positive culture and our belief that any investment that helps the earth to heal itself is an investment in all our futures.’
